The Languages Institute with the support of the UELC Network gathered 8 universities to foster the English language learning through a cultural event that highlights  the importance and pleasure of learning English through music. The final of The Song Challenge 2021 took place last October 28th and we had around 150 attendees. This was an event transmitted through Webex in which English interaction was promoted. 

The Universities participating were:

• Universidad del Valle
• Universidad ICESI
• Universidad Libre
• Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia
• Universidad Pontificia Javeriana
• Institución Universitaria Antonio José Camacho
• Escuela Nacional del Deporte

Ten finalists delighted the audience with their performance; in the end, the three judges decided to reward the best four singers:

Congratulations to all the students who participated in the Song Challenge 2021 and pleased the audience with their talent.

This year the winners were awarded with gift cards sponsored by the UELC Network, English online courses sponsored by National Geographic Learning and Institutional souvenirs sponsored by Pearson and Education First (EF).
