Many scientific and technological advances that we enjoy in our daily lives were at some point envisioned by people who dared to dream beyond their reality. Literature, cinematography and other forms of art are a physical manifestation of human imagination and can be a great source of ideas for building our future. This talk is a short journey through some examples of this connection between art and science.
